But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”  (Acts 1:8 ESV)

You call me Teacher and Lord [YHWH], and you are right, for so I am.  John 13:13 ESV

Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.  1 Timothy 3:16 ESV

... and ye shall be witnesses to Me ...

but ye shall receive power at the coming of the Holy Spirit upon you, and ye shall be witnesses to me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and unto the end of the earth.'  (Jesus. Acts 1:8 YLT)

'because there was born to you to-day a Saviour—who is Christ the Lord [in Hebrew MESSIAH ADONAI | YHWH]—in the city of David,'

'ye call me, The Teacher and The Lord [Hebrew for ADONAI | YHWH], and ye say well, for I am;'
Note: Jesus acquieces to the honour conferred to Him.

'The Jews answered him, saying, 'For a good work we do not stone thee, but for evil speaking, and because thou, being a man, dost make thyself God [aka YHWH].'

The Point of View of Acts 1:8 and why it matters to proclaim Jesus as YHWH in flesh

We may not be Jehovah's witnesses nor witnesses of God the Father but Jesus's witnesses because Jesus sends those of us who believe in His Gospel  to the world as His witnesses. Hence, when you come out as Jehovah’s witnesses you are unbeknownst to you proclaiming that Jesus is YHWH.
It is important to teach that Jesus is YHWH because it is written that everyone will have to confess that Jesus is YHWH [LORD|Lord]. Read Philippians 2:1-11.

Conception of Jesus

And behold! You will conceive in your womb and bear a Son, and you will call His name Jesus. Luke 1:31 KJ3

Birth of Jesus

because today a Savior, who is Christ the Lord, was born to you in the city of David. Luke 2:11 KJ3

Origins of Jesus

for I have come down out of Heaven, not that I should do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me. John 6:38 KJ3

Death of Jesus

And crying with a loud voice, Jesus said, Father, “into Your hands I commit My spirit.” And saying this, He expired. Psa. 31:5 Luke 23:46 KJ3

Resurrection of Jesus

He is not here, for He was raised, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying. Matthew 28:6 KJ3

No one can know who Jesus is

... and no one knows who the Son is if not the Father; and who is the Father, if not the Son, and he to whom the Son may desire to reveal Him. Luke 10:22 KJ3

What is the "crime" that got Jesus killed?

The Jews answered Him, saying, We do not stone you for a good work, but for blasphemy, and because you, being a man, make yourself God [YHWH]. John 10:33 MKJV

You have heard the blasphemy; what do you think? And they all condemned Him to be guilty of death. Mark 14:64 MKJV

Jesus was killed not because He made Hinself 'a' god, as He is seen today by a subgroup of Christianity, but because in Judaism He made Himself God. Who is the God of the of the Hebrews? He is known as YHWH, the Creator in Genesis and John 1. YHWH cannot be translated in any language. What is the word which is used for the name of God? In English, the word that refers to YHWH is 'the LORD'. Is it true that Jesus never claimed to be YHWH but was only falsely accused of making Himself YHWH God?

In John 13:13, Jesus acquiesces to be YHWH [LORD|Lord in English].

Christ the Lord Jesus in Hebrew is MESSIAH ADONAI YHWH  YESHUA. Luke 2:11, Micah 5:2.

John 13:13 KJ3
You call Me the Teacher, and, the Lord [aka YHWH]. And you say well, for I AM.
